Editorial policy

The rules Club Digital follows to publish reliable, verifiable information about software and digital tools.

Checked and dated information

Club Digital articles rely first and foremost on sources that can be consulted online:

  • vendors’ official websites for prices, plans, features and commercial terms;
  • vendors’ help pages and documentation for how the tools work;
  • government and public authority websites for regulations (tax, data protection, IT security).

When an article mentions a price, a number of features or a commercial term, the date of the check is stated.

No invented information

  • No figure is published without a source that can be consulted.
  • No quote is attributed to a person without a published, traceable source.
  • No study, report or organisation is cited without a verifiable link.
  • No commercial promise (free trial, refund, guarantee) is repeated without having been read on the vendor’s website.
  • When a piece of information could not be verified, it is not published.

Updated articles

Software changes all the time. Each article shows its publication date and, where relevant, its update date. Prices and features are those observed on the date of the check: they should be confirmed with each vendor before any purchase.

General information

Club Digital content is general information. It does not replace the advice of an accountant, a lawyer or an IT security provider for a specific situation.

Reporting an error

An error or outdated information can be reported at the following address: contact@club-digital.fr. Corrections are applied to both the French and the English version of the article.
